Notes:

This system has a high-end set of boards, well suited for running 68K Cromix. I upgraded the RDOS 3.08 ROM on the 64FDC to version 3.12 (with the help of a 2364 to 2764 adapter). The ROM on the STDC was upgraded from 1.23 to 1.27. Those updates allow larger hard drive capacities, and the system can boot directly from a hard drive partition.

In place of the original pair of 256KZ RAM boards, I built and installed a John Monahan designed 4MB Static RAM board. I added a pair of Goteks to emulate either 5-1/4" or 8" floppy drives. Also, a David Gesswein MFM hard drive emulator, on which I installed Cromix-Plus 31.68. This version is the last version that runs on the 68000; later versions required a 68010 or 68020 CPU.
