This system is currently configured with a 9144A cartridge tape drive, a 7957B disc drive (81MB), a 7959B disc drive (304MB) and a 700/92 terminal. The 9144A had the "gooey capstan" problem which affects all of these drives of a certain age, and the rubber was replaced by 3 flat-sided O-rings. MPE-V release G.40.00 is currently loaded. I intially thought this was a Series 37 but after checking part numbers, I discovered that the CPU board is actually from a Micro XE, a later model comparable to the Series 42.
